Invitation to prayer
Since 1996 the sisterhood of the Casteller Ring Community, a Benedictine religious order, has worked and prayed in the Augustinian Monastery.
Prayer times (every day except Tuesday): at 7am, 12pm, 6pm and 7.30pm (apart from Saturdays) in the church.

Time out
An opportunity to escape the stresses of everyday life. A search for tranquillity, with an accompanying talk by the nuns of the Casteller Ring Community in the Augustinian Monastery.

Guided tour of the town
in the footsteps of Martin Luther
Tour of the medieval old town of Erfurt, passing over Krämer Bridge, through the historical University quarter, past St. Mary’s Cathedral, the Church of St. Severus and the Merchants’ Church with its Luther memorial.

Krämer Bridge Festival
The largest medieval festival in Thuringia, with craftsmen, musicians and other artists. Dates: one weekend in mid June.

Ecumenical Martin’s Festival
In honour of Martin Luther’s birthday on 10 November.

Christmas Market
The largest Christmas Market in Thuringia held for more than 150 years against the romantic backdrop of St. Mary’s Cathedral and the Church of St. Severus. End of November to 22 December.
